Jerry A. Kunkle
Jerry A. Kunkle of rural Carlyle died Tuesday, November 11, 2014 at his residence at the age of 71 years. Jerry was born in Granite City, Illinois the son of Carl and Wanda Lee (Davis) Kunkle. He married Annie Johnson in East St. Louis on March 6, 1965, and she survives.
Jerry is also survived by his children: Theresa Harcourt of Beckemeyer, Tina Brown of Albers, Connie Tharp of St. Louis, and Jerry H. A. Kunkle of Hoffman; two sisters: Betty Shearer of Jacksonville, Florida and Mary Schytter of Clifton, Colorado; three brothers: Cliff Kunkle of Springdale, Arkansas, Bob Kunkle of Peoria, Illinois and Steven Kunkle of Carlyle; nineteen grandchildren; and seven great grandchildren.
Mr. Kunkle had worked for Holtgrave Distributing as a mechanic before retirement. He enjoyed the outdoors and spending time with his family.
In keeping with Mr. Kunkle’s wishes, cremation services were performed with no services scheduled.
