At 65 years of age Jean earned her C.N.A. certification and worked at the Breese Caring First Nursing Home until she retired. Jean loved shopping, playing bingo and yard sales, but most of all she was a loving mother, grandmother and great grandmother. Her family was the most important thing in her life. No matter what the circumstance, Nanny was always there to help. She was very fortunate to be able to stay in her own home with the help of her family- especially her sons David and Larry.
Committal services will be Saturday at 11:00 A.M. at Carlyle Township Cemetery. Friends are asked to go directly to the cemetery.
For those wishing to honor Jean with a memorial, the family suggests Hospice of
Southern Illinois and those will be received at the Frerker Funeral Home in Carlyle which is serving the family.
