Earline D. Kruse of Beckemeyer passed away Monday, December 15, 2014 at her residence at the age of 89 years. Earline was born in Carlyle on October 19, 1925, the daughter of Gilbert and Mildred (nee Cavin) Foster. Earline married Bob Kruse in Piggott, Arkansas on November 13, 1952 and he survives in Beckemeyer.
Mrs. Kruse is also survived by her children: Barbara McDonough and husband Larry of Colorado Springs, Colorado, Peggy Eubanks and husband Rollie of Carlyle, Ralph Wheelan and wife Sheila of Palm Bay, Florida, Pat Goodwin and husband Larry of Highland, Illinois, Brenda Kleiboeker and husband Steven of Aviston, Pam Kuhn and special friend Frank Armstutz of Breese, and Robin Kruse of Highland; a sister: Carol Niemeyer of Tulsa, Oklahoma; 16 grandchildren; many great grandchildren; 3 great great grandchildren; a sister-in-law Alberta Garcia, brother-in-law and sister-in-law Tom and Janette Kruse all of Beckemeyer and Paul Kruse of of St. Charles, MO.
Earline was preceded in death by her parents; a sibling: Maxine (Alfred) Hostmeyer, Wib (Mary) Foster, Gilbert (Mary Jean) Foster and Charles Darwin; brothers-in-law: Virgil Niemeyer, Art Garcia, Jerry Kruse and Glenn Kruse; parents-in-law: Robert and Alvina Kruse; and a son-in-law: Moto Kuhn.
Earline had worked as a bartender at the Ten Pin Bowl for many years. In her younger years she bowled and played golf. She enjoyed playing bingo, baking, doing crafts, but especially spending time with her family.
Funeral services will be Thursday, December 18, 2014 at 7:30 P.M. at the Frerker Funeral Home in Carlyle with Deacon Bob Lippert officiating.
Friends may visit with the family on Thursday, December 18, 2014 from 4 to 7:30 P.M. at the Frerker Funeral Home in Carlyle.
If you choose to honor Earline with a memorial, the family suggests the America Lung Association or VITAS Hospice and those will be received at the Frerker Funeral Home which is serving the family.
